Come and visit us, and you will discover an authentic land where tradition has never been abandoned, but rather reimagined with elegance and a contemporary vision. Umbria is a region that remains deeply rooted in its heritage, while quietly and gracefully embracing innovation.
A landscape of gentle green hills, untouched medieval villages, and human-scale towns, where art, culture, and gastronomy are woven together into one of Italy’s most precious and timeless treasures.
A classic, enduring itinerary begins in Perugia, the cultural heart of Umbria, before continuing on to Assisi, a place of profound symbolism and an essential stop on any journey through the region.
Alongside these iconic destinations, Spoleto, Gubbio, Todi, Orvieto with its extraordinary cathedral, and Città di Castello all deserve to be explored.
For a truly authentic and immersive experience, we suggest discovering at least two or three of Umbria’s most enchanting medieval villages: Montefalco, Spello, Trevi, and Bevagna—living jewels suspended in time.
During your stay at Posta Donini, our team will be delighted to curate bespoke experiences for you: cultural itineraries, guided museum visits, wine tastings in local cellars, e-bike adventures, hot-air balloon flights, and hands-on encounters with ceramics and ancient local traditions.
To experience Umbria in its most authentic and privileged form, every journey can be thoughtfully tailored to your desires.
