From May 7 to May 10, 2026, Perugia will host again the historic reenactment of Coppa della Perugina, featuring a full program of events, parades, and historic stages.
Originally held in the 1920s, Coppa della Perugina was an international car race created and promoted by Giovanni Buitoni, the then head of the chocolate company La Perugina.
Today, it is a re-enactment event for historic cars produced up to 1965, taking place in Umbria, the Green Heart of Italy. The event allows a maximum of 100 historic cars, including 20 open-top models built before 1930.
There are two final classifications: one for cars from the 1920s and one for post-1930 models. During the three days, participants will enjoy a mix of skill challenges, cultural experiences, and fun activities.
The main goal has always been to leave a lasting and enjoyable memory for participants, who are considered the true “ambassadors” of Coppa della Perugina in Italy and worldwide. Thanks to the region’s rich touristic and cultural offerings, the event grows every year, creating unforgettable moments.
And of course, the star of the show is chocolate, celebrated for its artistry and energy!
