Perugia Flower Show, the market exhibition of rare and unusual plants, returns this year for its spring edition on May 23–24, in the splendid setting of Villa del Colle del Cardinale.
This unmissable event allows visitors to discover the latest national trends in horticulture and meet top collectors and producers of botanical rarities.
Within the gardens, guests can explore over 70 exhibitors, featuring enchanting collections: the rarest citrus, unusual shrubs, all types of roses, fruit trees ranging from wellness varieties to ancient rediscovered species, ornamental grasses, and essential seasonal bulbs for gardens and balconies. Perennials, evergreens, aromatic plants, and chili peppers of all heat levels will also be on display. Bonsai, ornamental salvias, carnivorous plants, cacti, and tillandsias will complete this extraordinary botanical panorama.
The magnificent orangerie will host top artisans and collectors from Italy and Europe, forming the “Limonaia della Creatività” (Creativity Orangery).
Nature-inspired products will also feature in the “Area dei Golosi” (Gourmands Area), offering guided tastings, flower-based cooking courses, ancient rediscovered products, and more. A green food corner will welcome visitors interested in natural cuisine, respectful of local traditions, while music and floral toasts will ensure a lively atmosphere.
Each edition of Perugia Flower Show also emphasizes educational activities: free workshops led by exhibitors, seminars on entomology, specialist gardening courses, scientific talks, showcooking, and fun educational activities for children. Alpacas and horses will also be present, and visitors can explore the historic and enchanting interiors of Villa del Colle del Cardinale.
